Dominic is an experienced and formidable advocate, having appeared in cases across the full spectrum of the criminal law. He is particularly experienced dealing with vulnerable witnesses and defendants. He is renowned for his thorough preparation and attention to detail.
Dominic has considerable expertise in complex boiler-room frauds having prosecuted on behalf of the SFO and is on the CPS Advocates Panel at Grade 3.

In 2013, Dominic defended in R v ZA and ors (Central Criminal Court) – multi-handed sex offences (‘Operation Bullfinch’ – the Oxford grooming case – led by QC)
Dominic regularly defends in cases involving allegations of serious violence, fraud and possession with intent to supply / importation of Class ‘A’ drugs.
Dominic is also privately instructed to advise and defend in driving cases. Dominic accepts instructions on a Direct Access basis.

Dominic has significant experience in fraud cases, having prosecuted (as junior counsel led by QC) two cases for the Serious Fraud Office (R v AS – Ipswich CC, R v DP and six ors – Ipswich CC), as well as acting as disclosure junior in a large number of other SFO cases.
Dominic is appointed to the CPS Advocates List (Grade 3) and prosecutes for HM Revenue and Customs.
