Ellen Wright

Third Six Pupil - Year of Call: 2017

Since starting her second six, Ellen has appeared in the Magistrates’, Youth and Crown Courts on a wide range of matters and has represented clients charged with a variety of offences including ABH, fraud, criminal damage, theft and public order offences. She is interested in developing a mixed crime and regulatory practice which balances both defence and prosecution work.

Experience

Prior to pupillage, Ellen spent 12 months in a financial role at a haulage company and a further 12 months as a Legal Administrator for Northumbria University. She has also held voluntary roles with the Schools Consent Project and SPITE where she educated children and young people on the law surrounding sexual offences and consent.
