Beth Crocker secured the only acquittal in a conspiracy to evade immigration controls. Her client, TD, was acquitted by the jury following a 3 week trial at Caernarfon Crown Court. He was alleged to have been part of a London and Birmingham based gang who conspired to bring illegal entrants into the UK using genuine British passports. The remaining defendants were found guilty and will be sentenced next month.
