Kyri Argyropoulos secures acquittal on joint possession firearms charges (R v CA)

By February 2, 2016No Comments

CA was the driver of a vehicle stopped by armed police following extensive surveillance.  He faced trial of joint possession of a firearm with his passenger who was a co-defendant.  The firearm was found by a Trident officer apparently “plainly visible”, wedged between the driver’s seat and the centre console of the car.  Kyri was able to discredit this and other officers and secured a unanimous acquittal of his client after a 4 day trial.
