Kyri Argyropoulos client worked as a cashier at a betting shop and was working behind the counter on 2 separate occasions when armed masked men entered and stole several thousands of pounds in cash. The man behind these KA (and other similar incidents) was Mr MM’s cousin and there was extensive telephone contact between KA and MM on the day of the first incident.

Kyri was able to show a lack of contact on the 2nd occasion through detailed analysis of phone records and mobile phones. In addition the defence were able to rebut a number of prosecution suggestions relating to co-location of mobile phones (Kyri was able to produce maps overnight in support of this) as well as the CCTV which, once served in full was again analysed in great detail resulting in the OIC having to concede a number of errors and corrections before the jury.

Instructed by Tommy Polycarpou of Faradays Solicitors.
