This Award is presented in memory of Giles Morrison who died in 2022.
Giles was a Member of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple and called to the Bar in 2002.
He had a distinguished career at the Bar and spent the majority of his practise, from 2008, at 15NBS Chambers until his untimely passing. He is deeply missed by all at 15 NBS, the Bar, Solicitors, family and friends.
Giles is remembered as being hardworking, eloquent, clever, and kind. With a wonderful sense of humour. He loved the Chelsea Flower Show, antiques, cooking and travelling.
Glies championed many causes including: better treatment of animals, in particular dogs. Most importantly, he worked tirelessly to improve access to the Bar and diversity. It is for this reason and the warm regard in which he is remembered by his peers, that 15 NBS Chambers has decided to sponsor this Award.
Giles will remain in the hearts of his partner James, family, friends, colleagues at the Bar and loved ones. He will always remain, in memoriam, a cherished Member of 15 NBS Chambers.
