As per tradition, LULS selects an Honorary Chairperson to serve as a figurehead for the society, and this year, they welcome Tana.

Tana Adkin KC, a highly respected Leicester alumni, was the ideal choice for the position. Her distinguished career, including her roles as Vice Chair and Chair of the Criminal Bar Association and her appointment to King’s Counsel in 2017 serves as an inspiration to the next generation of legal professionals at the university. Her recent shortlisting for Silk of the Year in the Legal 500 Bar Awards exemplifies her exceptional contributions to the legal field, making her an outstanding role model for LULS members.
Tana is delighted to accept the role of Honorary Chairperson and looks forward to working with the LULS over the coming year.
