Pierre-Marie Dievart, instructed by Aamer Rathor of Gatsby Law Solicitors, secure the acquittal of their client at St Albans CC.
The defendant was charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon, following an incident in February 2025 where family members had a violent altercation with their neighbours which left multiple people seriously injured, including stab wounds, skull lacerations, and a broken arm.
A robust defence was put forward, and following legal argument, the Crown offered no evidence on the offensive weapons charges as it was successfully argued that the incident took place in a location which could not be said to be public, at the end of the trial, the Jury unanimously acquitted the defendant.
