Rory Field secures acquittals in a ‘road rage’ incident which developed into an alleged robbery.

Rory Field, instructed by Hollingsworth Edwards Solicitors, represented a wealthy businessman. After a minor traffic collision, a simple roadside altercation developed into a more serious incident when the alleged victim made off with some of the client’s property.  The client used significant force to rescue his property and, in the process, found himself charged with robbery as well as dishonesty and violence counts.  After a trial at Southwark Crown Court the jury found the client not guilty of all counts.  Given the nature of the clients’ professional background, a guilty verdict could have had life changing consequences.   The client was delighted with the outcome
