Kyri Argyropoulos, instructed by Nick Jennaway of ITN Solicitors, represented ‘ZT’ at Harrow Crown Court.
ZT was the driver of a vehicle subjected to a ‘Hard Stop’ by firearms officers. A loaded 9mm semi automatic pistol with 12 live rounds of ammunition. was found in the middle of the rear seat of his 2 door Range Rover Evoque. In addition a number of latex gloves were also found. He was charged under s16 with intent. In a deceptively simple case additional unused material requested, proved very fruitful and raised some difficult questions of the prosecution case.
