Brian St Louis KC and Robert Ward, instructed by Costa Cantaris of Cantaris Locke solicitors, successfully defended a man accused of attempted murder and several firearms offences in a 5-month trial at the Old Bailey.
Operation Hamiltona and Operation Guipue were focused on the attempted murder of two brothers on two separate occasions in 2021.
The allegations were that our defendant had traveled in a car on false number plates to an address in Dagenham in company with two other men, one of whom fired a sawn-off shotgun at another male within seconds of arriving, hitting him in the face. The defendant was ultimately cleared of all charges in connection with the incident.
