John Waller secured the acquittal of his client over the course of two trials. The defendant had been accused of an initial rape and then, whilst on bail, was accused of a second rape. The allegations had different complainants. John was able to successfully argue severance on the basis that it would be prejudicial for the allegations to be tried together.
