John Waller secures Court Martial acquittal for Rape

By January 23, 2020No Comments

John Waller successfully defended his client who was accused of Rape on a fellow RAF recruit. John’s client was the first defendant in an alleged joint enterprise. The Crown alleged that the complainant was too drunk to consent during the alleged rape by the two defendants. The case was complicated by the fact that two witnesses saw the complainant in a state of unconsciousness seconds after the alleged Rape. Through careful and considered cross examination John was able to discredit this account which led to the military board of five officers finding his client not guilty.

John was instructed by OWN Solicitors.
