Kerry Moore, instructed by Aamer Rathore at Gatsby Law and Led by Giles Cocking KC, secured the acquittal of their client who was charged with the kidnapping of an individual in 2023.
Operation Mustard was a Serious Organised Crime Team (SOCT) led investigation by Northamptonshire Police and culminated in the arrest and charging of our client as the main protagonist in an ‘OCG’ kidnapping, where it is alleged that firearms and extreme violence were used to subdue, abduct and intimidate the victim.
Thanks to robust defence tactics, including the cross-examination of DNA experts and numerous disclosure requests, the client was acquitted of the charges of kidnap against him.
