After a 5 week trial at Oxford Crown Court, Martin Rutherford KC leading Kellie Enever (Cornwall Street Chambers), secured acquittals for their 17 year old client who faced charges of attempt murder and s.18 wounding with intent.
Their client, who was 16 at the time of the incident, was one of three youths on trial for the stabbing, which occurred in People’s Park, Banbury in the summer of 2022:
