Today a young client was acquitted at the Old Bailey of Murder, Robbery and Violent Disorder arising from an incident in Montrose Park, Edgware in May 2021.
Instructed by Ferdi Achom of Achom & Partners Tana Adkin KC and Ruth Zentler-Munro represented a teenage defendant alleged to have taken part in a Murder, Violent Disorder and Robbery. The case involved issues of Joint enterprise, self defence and visual and audio analysis of mobile phone footage. Both Counsel cross-examined the various eye witnesses including two children. Cross-examination necessitated drawing out accounts given by witnesses at the time, some 2 1/2 years ago. Counsel cross-referenced the accounts and challenged the Prosecution’s perspective in closing.
