Beth Crocker represented FT who was stopped at Birmingham airport with 4.4kilos of cocaine in her suitcase.  FT was stopped having spent a week in Jamaica.  She denied all knowledge of the drugs in her case but interrogations of her telephone revealed suspicious communications with persons in Jamaica and the UK during a period that covered 3 return trips to the island.  FT told the jury at Birmingham Crown Court that she was engaging in a sham marriage with a Jamaican man but maintained her denial in relation to the drugs.  She was unanimously acquitted.
