The trial concerned a gang related attack where a group of men broke into a house with a sawn-off shotgun which was fired at one of the occupants at close range causing near fatal injuries. The trial lasted over 5 weeks and was prosecuted by Queen’s Counsel. Robert secured the acquittal of his client following a successful submission of no case to answer. Two other defendants were convicted of attempted murder.
