After a 3 week trial at Maidstone Crown Court, Ruth Zentler-Munro secured the acquittal of her client charged with rape notwithstanding evidence that:
-he had confessed 9 times to having had sex with the complainant when police attended his home address
-he had the complainant’s DNA on his penis;
-he had deposited his DNA into the complainant’s vagina;
-he had nonetheless defended the case on the basis that sexual intercourse had not occurred.
