Rory Field was invited by Rugby School (established 1567) to make a keynote address to students and parents. Currently the famous school is celebrating the 200th anniversary of the game of Rugby. The game began when a Rugby schoolboy in 1823 picked up the ball during a game of football and ran with it. Rory spoke at the historic Temple Speech Room, which is used for whole school assemblies. He spoke to a full house and because parents were also present, the overflow of younger students saw the speech on video link. The 45-minute speech was on the topic of how to have a fulfilling career. Rory used his own career as a barrister as the foundation for the address. The presentation was very well received.
